When I saw an icon painted on a wooden plank hanging on the wall in their house, I asked where it was from. I figured it was a souvenir from a monastery in Greece, or something like that.

 

Josh told me it was her work.

 

Aside from her hands and eye, the only tools she used to make the design were a ruler and a compass. I don’t recall if that particular piece was a copy of something she found in a book, or just stylistically similar to specific icons, but it was amazing.
